Fairtrade

Hesselink Fingerprinted coffee consists of Fairtrade coffeebeans, in the Netherlands also known as ‘Max Havelaar’. This means that the coffee is produced with respect for people and the environment. The coffee farmers are getting paid a fair price for their coffee which they can use to invest in a sustainable future. This way, Hesselink Koffie contributes to a higher standard of living for the farmers in coffee producing countries.

Skal Certificering

Our Fingerprinted coffee is also organic, which is guaranteed by the SKAL-certificate. SKAL certifies all organic production in the Netherlands including import. Organic coffee farming encourages beneficial insects and a healthier, more resistant crop. This way, the coffee isn’t only there for us, but also for Mother Nature.

Klimaatneutraal product

Since 2018, our coffee is granted with the ‘Climate Neutral Group’-certificate. The Climate Neutral Group helps companies to do business in a climate-neutral way. This way companies can do their part in reducing climate problems. Climate Neutral means that we fully compensate our CO2-emission which we produce while roasting our coffee.
